• Mentors who are matched to a new lawyer are expected to participate in a Mentor Orientation program prior to their first meeting with their new lawyer.
• Mentors of November new lawyers who could not attend the live Mentor Orientation program on Jan. 26, 2007, should view the video of the program online or by DVD. • The orientation materials can be accessed below. A hard copy was mailed to every mentor participating in the program who did not attend the live orientation.

• The New Lawyer Orientation consists of watching Chief Justice Thomas Moyer's program introduction available online (below) and thoroughly reading the orientation materials which are mailed to new lawyers. New lawyers are responsible for knowing how the program works and when paperwork is due so that they can successfully complete the program and receive six (6) hours of New Lawyer Training credit. The video of Chief Justice Moyer's introduction will also be available on DVD. (DVDs will be loaned to new lawyers for a one-week period of time. To be placed on a waiting list for the DVD, please e-mail Denise Platfoot Lacey.)
