<?xml version='1.0' encoding='ISO-8859-1'?><?xml-stylesheet type='text/xsl' href='ss.xsl'?><root><expires>12/23/2012 12:00:00 AM</expires><item1>December 7, 2012</item1><item2>Court Improvement Program Analyst (Grant-funded)</item2><item33>The Supreme Court of Ohio is seeking </item33><item3>applicants for the position of Court Improvement Program Analyst to coordinate, prepare, and submit federal Court Improvement Program Grant applications and program reports.</item3><item44>The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. </item44><item5>Accurately prepares applications and reports, monitors implementation, tracks expenditures, assesses and makes recommendations regarding the effectiveness of Ohio's federal Court Improvement Grant Program;
 
coordinates the evaluation of outcomes for each Court Improvement Program Grant activity and uses Continuous Quality Improvement methods to recommend adjustments to grant activities based on the outcome data and feedback from various stakeholders;
 
develops tools or systems to collect outcome data related to Court Improvement Grant activities;
 
manages contract agreements and monitors expenditures and completion of contract deliverables that support the work of the Court's child and family law programs.
</item5><item12>As assigned, staffs local court personnel meetings to share resources and preferred practices;
 
assists with staffing the Advisory Committee on Children, Families, and the Courts and other committees and workgroups. Staffing these meetings may involve activities such as preparing an agenda with the chair(s), documenting meeting minutes, facilitating discussion, arranging for guest presenters, and making presentations;
 
maintains accurate records related to assigned projects;
 
makes travel arrangements for field work, meetings and conference attendance;
 
participates in regular meetings of the Division's Child and Family Law staff in order to coordinate activities.
</item12><item14>May be required to effectively supervise interns, externs, and administrative support staff;
 
reviews current literature, attends conferences, meetings and training sessions to develop professionally;
 
makes presentations to small and large groups and at professional conferences, as assigned;
 
investigates and pursues other federal, state and private funding related to the policy objectives of the Supreme Court as related to child and family law;
 
participates and assists with a variety of special projects as requested.</item14><item6>Master's Degree required with a focus in public administration, public policy, social work or a related field preferred. Four (4) years work experience related to child welfare which demonstrates progressive grant, fiscal and social program administration responsibly required.
 
Requires a basic knowledge of child abuse, neglect and dependency court proceedings and child welfare practices; intermediate knowledge of strategic planning and the implementation of a continuous quality improvement approach to program implementation.
 
Requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
 
Requires demonstrated ability to effectively use outcome data to manage multiple projects.
 
Requires the ability to work non-standard hours and overnight travel occasionally within Ohio as well as occasionally out-of-state.
 
Requires a valid driver's license.
 
Requires the ability to effectively communicate verbally and interact with supervisor, co-workers, judges, justices, attorneys, court personnel, federal and state executive branch agency staff, and/or the public.  
 
Requires the ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in situations involving the evaluation of information in order to continually improve program outcomes.
 
Requires the ability to effectively make presentations to small and large groups in both informal and formal settings.
 
Must pass a pre-employment background investigation.
