Domestic Violence Program

The Domestic Violence Program assists and supports local courts with issues associated with civil and criminal domestic violence and stalking cases practices and procedures. Program staff monitors new trends and disseminates information to local courts; develops rules and standards in regards to protection order forms and court procedures relating to domestic violence and stalking, and works closely with the Specialized Dockets Section, Children, Families, & the Courts Section, and Dispute Resolution Section to provide complete services to courts in the state on this topic.
