Effective Date
The changes in the contribution limits adopted by the Supreme Court on Feb. 1, 2005 are effective Feb. 1, 2005 and apply to judicial candidates who campaign for judicial offices that will appear on the ballot in calendar year 2005 and subsequent years. The contribution limits in effect prior to Feb. 1, 2005 apply to fundraising on behalf of judicial candidates who campaigned for judicial offices that appeared on the ballot in 2004.
