Court Relations Program

Mission
To gather and disseminate information and resources to judges and court personnel.

Goals
To serve as a liaison between the trial and appellate court judges, court personnel and clerks and the Supreme Court.

To recognize the needs, innovations and the activities of the courts and share policies, practices and information with others in-state and out-of-state.

Services

  1. Facilitate roundtable discussion groups based on jurisdiction for judges, court managers and clerks.
  2. Participate in judicial, court personnel and clerks' associations and committee activity.
  3. Publish "Court News and Information," an email bulletin.
  4. Support special projects initiated by trial and appellate courts.
  5. Make court site visits as requested.
  6. Staff the Advisory Committee on the Judicial Family Network, an educational and resource program for partners of judges.
  7. Interface with Supreme Court counterparts in the other states.
  8. Provide clearinghouse services to courts for materials related to facilities planning and architecture, record retention, jury management, court-community relations, self-represented litigants and judicial-clerk-administrative team working relationships.
