Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer issued the following statement today in response to the appointment of Nancy H. Rogers as Ohio Attorney General:
“Dean Nancy Rogers is an excellent choice to serve as Attorney General during this time of transition,” said Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer of the Supreme Court of Ohio. “I have worked with her for nearly 30 years and know that she will begin the restoration of respect for the Office of Attorney General that it must have. Dean Rogers is a woman of the highest integrity, and she has extraordinary leadership and management abilities. She also has a deeply held commitment to the rule of law and is dedicated to the improvement of the Ohio legal system. Governor Strickland is to be commended for this important appointment.”
