The Judicial College was created in 1976 and is governed by Gov. Jud. R. V. The College was established to provide educational programs and activities for Ohio judges. In 1988, the program was expanded to include magistrates (then known as referees), and in 1990 the College began to provide programs for non-judicial court personnel throughout the state.

Judicial College Online Registration

Ohio Guardian ad Litem Education Program Pre-Service Course

This course is offered by the Judicial College and is designed for attorneys and non-attorneys who are involved, or wish to become involved, with Guardian ad Litem (GAL) service in their local courts. This course will satisfy the new Rule 48 of the Supreme Court of Ohio Rule of Superintendence requiring that all GAL's complete at least six (6) hours of pre-service educational programming.
