Attorney Registration

Each attorney admitted to the practice of law in Ohio, and each attorney admitted in another jurisdiction but practicing law in Ohio for a nongovernmental (corporate) employer, must register with the Supreme Court of Ohio. Active and corporate attorneys must register and pay a registration fee assessed by the Court on or before Sept. 1 of each odd-numbered year. As of July 1, 2007, inactive attorneys are not required to file a certificate of registration but must provide the Court with a current residence or business address and other contact information. The Office of Attorney Registration & CLE administers the registration requirements.

An attorney may register, pay registration fees, update registration information, and view CLE transcripts online.
