Final Reporting Transcript
Final Reporting Transcripts have been mailed to attorneys and judges whose last name begins with the letters A-L. Be advised that sponsors of continuing legal education activities are given 30 days from the date of the activity to submit requests for credit for those individuals who have completed the activity. Once requests for credits are received by the Office of Attorney Services, it can take a few days to update attorneys’ records. Gov. Bar R. X requires that attorneys complete their CLE hours by 11:59 p.m. on December 31. Rule X does not require that all attorney credits be reported by that date.
Please remember that in addition to earning your hours by Dec. 31, you also must file your Final Reporting Transcript by Jan. 31, 2010. You may submit your Final Reporting Transcript electronically on the online Attorney Services Web site by 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2010. Or, if you prefer, you may sign and return the paper copy of your Final Reporting Transcript postmarked by Jan. 31, 2010. You do not need to do both.
Active attorneys and attorneys registered for corporate status must complete and report 24 hours of accredited CLE activities every two years. Fulltime judges must complete and report 40 hours of accredited CLE activities, and magistrates and parttime judges must complete and report 24 hours of accredited CLE activities every two years. Judges and magistrates also have a Judicial College requirement. CLE requirements are contained in Gov. Bar R. X and are administered by the Commission on Continuing Legal Education and the Office of Attorney Services.
